DMIRS (Building and Energy, WA)
DMIRS Building and Energy is WA's building regulator, issuing and renewing contractor registrations under the Building Services (Registration) Act 2011 (WA).
Ask Chalkline about this →The Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS), through its Building and Energy division, is the WA government agency that registers and regulates building contractors and building practitioners under the Building Services (Registration) Act 2011 (WA).
Building contractor registrations in WA are issued for a period of 18 months to 3 years. Renewal applications can be lodged up to 12 weeks before the expiry date. Registration continues to be current past the expiry date while a renewal application is being assessed, provided it was lodged before expiry.
