QBCC (Queensland Building and Construction Commission) is the Queensland state regulator for building and construction licensing, compliance, and home warranty insurance.

The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is the Queensland state regulator for the building and construction industry. It issues and manages licences for builders, trade contractors, and certifiers; administers the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme; enforces compliance with the QBCC Act; and handles complaints about defective or incomplete building work.
Any person or company that carries out licensable building work in Queensland must hold a current QBCC licence. The QBCC also sets and enforces the Minimum Financial Requirements (MFR) that licensees must maintain throughout the life of their licence.
