PCI (Practical Completion Inspection)
PCI is the walkthrough at practical completion where the client inspects finished work, judges it against tolerances, and records the defects list.
Ask Chalkline about this →The walkthrough at practical completion where the client (often with a building consultant) inspects the finished work and records defects against the contract spec, AS standards, and the HIA Guide to Materials and Workmanship.
The output is a defects list the builder works through before final payment is released. Anything missed at PCI carries over into the defects liability period.
