Ask Chalkline about this →A concretor is a trade contractor who places, compacts, finishes, and cures concrete. On residential projects the concretor typically takes responsibility for the full slab package: formwork set-up, reinforcement placement, ordering and receiving the concrete truck, screeding and trowelling the surface, and managing the curing period.
Concretors work alongside the structural engineer (who provides the slab design) and the certifier (who must sign off the pre-pour inspection before the pour can begin). Scope often includes footings, edge beams, paths, driveways, and suspended slabs where specified.
