MEN (Multiple Earthed Neutral) is the earthing system used across Australian and NZ low-voltage installations under AS/NZS 3000 Section 5.
Ask Chalkline about this →The MEN (Multiple Earthed Neutral) system is the standard low-voltage earthing arrangement used across Australia and New Zealand. The neutral conductor is connected to earth at multiple points along the supply and at the main switchboard of every installation. AS/NZS 3000:2018 Section 5 specifies the earthing and bonding requirements for an MEN installation, including the main earthing conductor, the MEN connection at the switchboard, and equipotential bonding to metal water and gas pipework where it enters the building.
