Klip-Lok is Lysaght’s concealed-clip standing-seam steel roofing profile, designed for low-pitch and contemporary architectural roofs where no visible fastener heads are wanted on the finished surface. The sheet has a vertical rib that clips over a concealed plastic or steel clip screwed to the support; the next sheet snaps over the same clip. No screws penetrate the upper surface of the pan.

When it’s used

  • Low-pitch roofs below 5 degrees where pierce-fix profiles (Trimdek, Custom Orb) need to be steepened to maintain weather resistance.
  • Contemporary architectural designs where the standing-seam look is the design intent.
  • Long sheet runs where pierce-fix penetration count would create high failure risk.
  • Wall cladding for a clean concealed-fix aesthetic.

On-site checks

  • Clips correctly aligned with stud or purlin centres before fitting.
  • Sheet pan free of foot traffic damage; light walking only on the rib, never on the pan.
  • Underside of overlaps free of swarf; metal shavings between pan and clip will corrode.
  • Compatible flashing details (Lysaght or matched colour/material) for ridges, valleys, and side laps.
