A Certificate of Construction Compliance is a certificate issued by a registered building surveyor in Western Australia confirming that building work has been completed in accordance with the relevant building permit. It is prepared on form BA17 and is required before lodging an occupancy permit application (BA9) under s 56 of the Building Act 2011 (WA). For a Certified Application, the private building surveyor who issued the BA3 (Certificate of Design Compliance) typically also signs the BA17 after carrying out a final inspection. For an Uncertified Application, the local government building surveyor performs the final inspection and signs the certificate.

Also known as: BA17, construction compliance certificate.
