CCEW (Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work, NSW)

The CCEW is the NSW form of electrical Certificate of Compliance, issued by a licensed contractor for new or altered electrical wiring work.

A Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) is the NSW form of electrical Certificate of Compliance. It’s issued by the licensed electrical contractor responsible for the installation, certifying the work meets AS/NZS 3000 and the Home Building Act 1989. A copy goes to the customer, the network operator (Ausgrid, Endeavour, Essential), and is retained by the contractor. The licence holder’s name and licence number must appear on every CCEW.
