The BCITF levy (Building and Construction Industry Training Fund levy, also called the CTF levy) is a training levy payable on building and construction work in Western Australia. It is administered by the Construction Training Fund (CTF) and applies to most building work valued at $20,000 ex-GST or more. A receipt for levy payment (or an exemption declaration) is required as part of the building permit application. The levy funds apprenticeship and training programs in the WA building and construction industry. The current levy rate and any exemptions are published at ctf.wa.gov.au. Owner-builders and certain other categories may have different obligations.
