An Authorised Nominating Authority (ANA) is a body approved by the NSW Government to receive adjudication applications and appoint adjudicators under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW). When a subcontractor or contractor cannot resolve a payment dispute, they lodge their adjudication application with an ANA, which then appoints an independent adjudicator to determine the dispute.
