AGGA (Australian Glass and Glazing Association)

AGGA (the Australian Glass and Glazing Association) is the peak industry body representing state glass associations and individual companies across the Australian glass and glazing sector, including glass manufacturers, processors, merchants, glaziers, and suppliers of glazing machinery, services, and materials (verified 2026-05-10, AGGA about).

AGGA operates an Accredited Company Program that requires member companies to maintain staff with a thorough knowledge of AS 1288:2021 (Glass in buildings, Selection and installation). At minimum, one staff member per accredited company must hold the AGGA AS1288 Accredited Program certification. AGGA accreditation is a useful proxy for glazier quality when engaging on residential and commercial packages, particularly for balustrade and safety glazing work.
